Nederland is in het internationale nieuws: vandaag zijn Nederlandse functionarissen in Washington DC en zou er een deal aangekondigd kunnen worden over exportbeperkingen voor de halfgeleiderindustrie, aldus Reuters. Het FD bevestigt ook dat er besprekingen plaats gaan vinden.
POLITICO Europe heeft Nederlandse bronnen over het beleid van de Rijksoverheid om TikTok niet meer als medium voor uitingen te gebruiken. Het lijkt tijdelijk beleid tot er meer duidelijkheid is.
Eurocommissarissen Valdis Dombrovskis, Frans Timmermans en Margrethe Vestager hebben een opiniestuk geschreven in de Financial Times. Hierin zetten ze hun voorstel voor het Europese antwoord op de Amerikaanse Inflation Reducation Act uiteen en spreken ze zich uit tegen een subsidieoorlog.

Ik ben niet altijd zo overtuigd van de analyses van Katsuji Nakazawa en hij zit er wel eens naast, maar in dit geval maakt hij empirische claims die geverifieerd kunnen worden.
